Lakeland, FL – Tunes-N-Tint a Florida retailer announced it has hired a new team member and promoted a current team member to management.
Jessie Walker has been promoted to Tunes-N-Tint’s North Lakeland store manager. Walker has been with Tunes-N-Tint for nearly 4 years. He started as as a customer. Then, after putting himself through Installer Institute, Walker accepted an internship position with Tunes-N-Tint and has worked his way up. He is cross trained in all positions, holds MECP & ASE certifications and has been recognized by Mobile Electronics as a Rookie of The Year candidate in 2014.
Tunes-N-Tint’s newest team member is Tony Sanderson. He brings over 3 years industry experience from a well established Tampa retailer. Tony was first introduced to audio and automotive customizing as a junior in high school. From then on the love affair quickly crew into a career. “I’ve put in a ton of time and effort to make my hobby into a dream job and make coming into work everyday a blessing,” said Sanderson.
Tunes-N-Tint has a policy of promoting from within. “We believe time of the job matters. Not just within our industry but within our organization. An associate that has demonstrated their commitment by working their way through the various positions speaks a lot more about that team members dedication. And training should always be our job,” said Joe Cassity, Operations Manager. “That’s why all of our management staff have all started out as techs and have been promoted/trained from within.”
Tunes-N-Tint is a small chain mobile electronics retailer operating “Restyling Centers” in Central Florida formerly known as Alarms, ETC.
