Kicker is shipping its first marine radios including a KMC20 full featured model at $749.95 suggested retail price.
The KMC20 has a full color LCD screen that is viewable in sunlight, and it has a controller display that is attached to an outboard processor by a 6-ft. cable. It provides three sets of RCAs for amplifiers and a subwoofer output. Other features include Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and AM/FM radio. It also has two USB inputs and dual zones.
The deck includes a weather-band system that issues a weather alert regardless of which mode the radio is playing (this feature is defeatable). And there’s a battery monitoring system that alerts you if the voltage drops below a certain point.
Power output of the radio is 50 watts RMS by 4 at 2 ohms or 25 watts by 4 at 4 ohms.
It is joined by the KMC10 that includes all features in one chassis and steps down to single zone capability at $549.95. It has the same color display and Bluetooth and has two sets of RCA outputs plus an auxiliary RCA input and USB connection. Like the KMC20, it is compatible with a KRC15 remote control sold separately at $149.95. It also has the weather-band alert system.
