Giving drivers worldwide, studio quality sound in any vehicle on the road. An integral part of the audio team, the Director of Audio Business Development, will be responsible for managing multiple new business development opportunities. This position will expand Stinger’s audio channels by developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, build client relationships and expand Stinger’s audio market presence. Reporting to the VP of Product Development, this role will be key to the success of new product launches and keeping consumers informed on all of Stinger’s audio products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the product revenue stream across their assigned product categories.
- Lead the charge in high-level client interactions, creating proposals, and representing the company at industry events.
- Conduct detailed consumer research with a customer first mindset for all future audio accessory and infotainment opportunities.
- Experience and passion for car audio – understanding of the technology behind the products, and able to transform market needs to products and solutions
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to manage the overall brand visual identity, ensure it is preserved in all external collateral, marketing, product content, etc.
- Develop and execute consumer driven and customer driven campaigns to promote product/solution awareness and sell through.
- Ability to customize, define and execute strategic plans against independent retailers, commercial and digital platforms.
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines or services analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
- Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes sales funnels.
- Measures and reports performance of all sales campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Ability to turn technical features into consumer benefits that drive demand.
- Train consumers and retailers on all Stinger audio products
Requirements:
- Ability to drive sales revenue.
- Ability to maintain a consistent brand identity through multi-channel marketing efforts.
- Strategic planner and organized leader who can utilize analytics tools to identify opportunities and create plans to improve brand profits across multiple customer types.
- Strong sales background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Work with a cross-functional team of marketing and product to execute on a multi-channel go-to-market plan.
- Ability to be in front of camera – YouTube, Social Media, Website videos etc preferred.
- Bilingual – Spanish speaking candidates preferred.
- 50% travel including trade shows & industry events
