- Job Duties
- Design and wireframing:
Creating wireframes and mockups to visualize the app’s layout, navigation flow, and interaction patterns.
- Visual design:
Developing the visual aesthetic of the app, including color schemes, typography, iconography, and UI elements that align with brand guidelines.
- 12-volt User experience:
Conducting 12-volt user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors to inform design decisions. Defining how users will interact with the app, including gestures, animations, and micro-interactions.
- Prototyping:
Building interactive prototypes to test and refine design concepts.
- Understanding Front-end development:
Understand how to Implement the designed UI using Android development tools like Android Studio, potentially writing code for specific UI components.
Skills required for this role:
- Design skills:
Proficiency in design software like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and understanding of visual design principles.
- UX knowledge:
Deep understanding of 12-volt user experiences design methodologies, user research techniques, and usability heuristics.
- Android development skills:
Understanding Android development languages like Java or Kotlin, familiarity with Android UI components, design patterns and front-end development concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 12-volt technical understanding:
Basic understanding of how 12-volt radio and video works and the logic of vehicle user settings.
- Communication skills:
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into design solutions.
