Diamond ships Harley radio for 1998-2014 motorcycles

After launching a “kitchen sink” radio with cutting edge features such as wireless CarPlay for new Harley motorcycles, Diamond Audio recently began shipping a similar model for 1998 to 2013 Harley bikes.

The key difference in the radios is the new model MSHD9813SG does not include Maestro compatibility for retaining motorcycle features as it is not necessary in the older Harley models, said Diamond Audio.

In addition to wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, the new MSHD9813SG Plug N-Play Digital Media Receiver has built-in 10-channel DSP and a 7-inch ultra bright screen that is rated at 1,000 NITs so it may be viewed in sunlight.  The screen is also glove-friendly.

Other features:

  • 10 Channel – Clip-Free Independent Outputs: Experience the clearest audio with (6) 5V RMS RCA outputs and (4) 50×4@2Ω/25×4@4Ω RMS clip-free outputs.
  • 6 Independent EQs: One global and five setup EQs allow for the ultimate sound customization, ensuring your audio is tuned to perfection.
  • 10CH DSP Features: Includes time delay, HP/LP/BP crossovers with adjustable slopes, with independent channels that can be linked or separated from fader control.
  • IPX6 Water Resistance: Comes with a weatherproof trim gasket, ensuring durability in all riding conditions.
  • Media Player & Bluetooth 5.2: Supports a wide range of media formats, including MP3, AAC, WMA, and more, with Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calling.
  • USB Media Input/Charger: Equipped with a 2.1A charger to keep your devices powered on the go.
  • Backup Camera Input: Enhance your safety with a compatible backup camera input.

The MSHD9813SG is available at $1099.
