Tri-State Enterprises Seeks Outside Salespeople

Founded in 1977, Tri-State Enterprises, is a family-owned company with locations in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Tri-State specializes in the wholesale distribution of aftermarket automotive parts, car audio and truck accessories throughout the central U.S.


We are looking for two motivated and knowledgeable 12V outside salespeople. One salesperson will be based in Missouri and cover Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. One salesperson will be based in Texas and cover Louisiana and Texas.

Position Responsibilities:
•Travel within your sales territory to visit with customers.
•Develop and maintain relationships with current customers.
•Identify and contact potential customers.
•Identify new opportunities for potential sales.
•Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and
relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise.
•Stay on top of new products and trends within the industry.
•Perform product demonstrations with customers.
•Generate and submit sales reports.

Required Skills/Abilities:
•Self motivated and a team player.
•Interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Sales and negotiation skills.
•Organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Proficient with Google Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to travel.

Starting pay:
•$55,000+ (based on experience)
•Performance and drive will determine pay growth opportunities.

Medical Insurance (after 60 days of employment)
•Medical – Tri-state will cover a portion of the insurance premiums for the employee (medical coverage for spouse and dependents as well as Dental, Vision, and other ancillary insurances are available at an additional cost to the employee)

401(k) Retirement Plan
•Tri-State will match up to 4% of an employee’s contribution, after 90 days of employment.  Employees must be actively contributing in order to receive the Safe Harbor match.
