CVDA is seeking an experienced and energetic International Technical Support Specialist with a passion for audio to support our Mobile, Motorcycle, Marine, and Powersports product offerings. CVDA International Tech Support Specialist:
A highly multi-faceted position. From technical support to general customer service responsibilities, this position will also contribute and play a critical role in the development of new products and bring future projects to life. Working closely with the New Product Development team, the CVDA Tech Support Specialist’s responsibilities include the following the duties:
Technical Support: • Daily interaction with consumers pertaining to CVDA products via phone and website providing technical support. • The support will entail straight forward answers regarding questions pertaining to installation and application of CVDA products. • Follow up daily with customer support with dealers and end-consumers with technical resolution. • Interact with the CVDA team to ensure final resolution of customer issues. • Developing product tech support papers to assist sales team. • Familiarity with worldwide vehicle models.
Quality Assurance: • Quality assurance and testing procedures. • Some vehicle installation of new products. • Inspection of prototypes/evaluation of product samples. • Electrical validation testing power output over/under voltage. • Trouble-shooting product installation scenarios. • Evaluate and ensure proper fitting of new products in specific applications. • Documenting all testing and validation in a cohesive manner.
• Must have network connections in UK and European within the electronic or automotive industries • Technical expertise in 12 volt automotive systems and a solid understanding of car audio applications, system design, and a general understanding of the audio concepts. • The ability to install and demonstrate car audio product and operate 12-volt system testing tools. • The ability to follow and maintain procedural guidelines in the testing and evaluation of 12-volt audio and accessory products. • Computer literate and the ability to utilize Microsoft office. • The ability to communicate effectively with consumers, colleagues, and management verbally and in the written form. • The ability and flexibility to travel upon request to trade shows or other needed events.
