CORRECTED: Kenwood Electronics announced it will introduce at CES a DSP/OEM amplifier designed to be installed “before the factory amplifier.”
The eXcelon XR600-6DSPĀ can “capture audio signals before the factory amplifier, resulting in cleaner output and retention of factory notifications,” said Kenwood.
It features 6 channels, 13-band equalizer, 3-point parametric EQ, digital crossover network, and 10-channel time alignment.
The amplifier delivers 6 x 75 watts RMS.
More details on the eXcelon XR600-6DSP will be revealed at CES.
For 2017, Kenwood will have a total of nine receivers with CarPlay and five with Android Auto.
In total, Kenwood will show a dozen new CD receivers at CES starting at $80 suggested retail price, 7 new AV receivers and 3 new digital media receivers starting at $100.
Kenwood will display at booth 4602 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center January 5-8.
