Now OnStar is Hacked

A hacker has created a $100 device that lets him track a vehicle equipped with OnStar, as well as unlock it, and start the engine.

The device is a WiFi hotspot that must be planted somewhere on the target vehicle, such as a bumper.  It then intercepts commands from the user’s smartphone when it communicates with OnStar.
