Brandmotion is now shipping a universal auto camera kit at $139, designed as an entry-level camera with higher priced features.
The model 9002-7601 camera kit includes all hardware need to mount a camera on top of a license plate or to any vertical or horizontal surface.
“We took some time in coming out with this kit, even though we knew that some of our resellers were looking for a value-priced solution to meet some of their customer requests, because we wanted the right package,” said Jeff Varick, Brandmotion president and CEO. “As with all of our products, we painstakingly select the best balance of capability and price point, and the resulting 9002-7601 provides a ton of features and value at a highly competitive MSRP.”
The kit’s camera uses a fast CMOS sensor to produce accurate color images with 420 TV lines and a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux. A 170-degree viewing angle provides a large capture area behind the vehicle, and the image can be overlaid with colored parking lines that show the proximity to a potential hazard. The image can also be reversed for front-of-vehicle applications or video screen compatibility.
This is Brandmotion’s 9th camera.
