German Maestro Launches “Ask Me” Program

Laguna Hills, CA January 5, 2012  –  German Maestro announced a sales floor marketing initiative aimed at compelling the consumer to authorize the sales person to educate (sell) the consumer about sound quality and how it is achieved.  The “Ask Me” program kicks off at CES 2012.  When the consumer is asking about something other than a low price, educating him and closing sales are easier.

According to Ray Windsor, German Maestro USA President, “we all know that it is, on occasion, difficult for a sales person to introduce a new brand to a consumer.  That is especially true with a brand in the mid to higher price range.  Toward that end we have developed a simple yet effective approach to making that discussion a little easier to engage in with a consumer.”

The German Maestro “Ask Me” program includes an attractive badge for the sales person to wear, a call to action set of POP for the store, and a USB flash drive with a short informative video and 8 demo songs.  “We are confident that retailers who enthusiastically engage in the Ask Me program” continued Windsor, “will improve their ability to represent themselves as Sound Quality Experts to a wider range of consumers.  Experts command attention and can improve the average ticket and increase gross margin selling products that consumers learn are valuable.”

When asked about product plans for CES Windsor responded, “Of course we will show our products at CES, every vendor exhibiting at CES does that.  We have a remarkably good sounding demo car, a very attractive and functional headphone audition station and terrific products.  What we’ll be doing differently at CES is providing retailers with a great selling tool, a way to increase the average ticket and the ability to do that at very predictable margins.”

This business requires outstanding product for sure but this environment requires a complete business plan as well.  German Maestro delivers that for specialty retailers.
