iSimple revealed it has sold 100,000 of its GateWay iPod/iPhone add-on car kits since 2007. The kits have been sold in modules with the wiring harness separate (except at big box retailers) but the company said it is now offering one-package kits that are more consumer-friendly, which combine both the GateWay module and wiring harness.
The GateWay at $190 can add any dockable iPod or iPhone to a vehicle. It then pairs with the factory radio’s controls including steering wheel controls and you don’t lose the satellite radio mode on the radio. You can add additional modules for HD radio, Sirius and Bluetooth.
