9to5Mac recognized “the best” aftermarket car radios with CarPlay in different price ranges.
In the “Under $400” category it lists the Pioneer’s App/Radio 4 (SPH-DA120) and Kenwood’s DDX6703S. The Pioneer deck with 6.2 inch screen carries a regular price of $599, but can be found as low as $399.99 at Best Buy, it said. Kenwood’s price is listed at $382.
In the “Under $500“ category it names Sony’s XAV-AX100 at $498.
It’s “Premium Pick” is the new Pioneer AVIC-8201 NEX that comes with a camera at $1,299.99.
