PAC (AAMP Global), said it is now shipping its new line of amplifier interfaces that let you improve the performance of your car audio system in a simplified fashion.
With its new AmpPRO interfaces, the industry gets a simplified solution to add aftermarket components in cars with data bus-controlled factory amplified audio systems. Consumers may also keep their factory radio.
The new AmpPRO installs with a wiring harness between the car’s head unit and amplifier. This eliminates the need for a separate summing device and an auto-correcting device when adding aftermarket components to the factory system, “making aftermarket amp installation a much faster and less complicated process–saving the installer a lot of time,” said AAMP.
A TOSLink optical adapter (APA-TOS1) is also available to provide a pure digital output for an aftermarket ampflier installation with AmpPRO.
The AmpPRO is vehicle-specific with three kits available now and more to come. The AmpPRO includes a harness and bass knob at a suggested retail price of $299.95 and a minimum advertised price of $249.95. .
Kits include:
AP4-CH21 for select 2007 – 2017 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles
AP4-CH41 for select 2013 – 2017 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles
AP4-FD21 for select 2013 – 2017 Ford vehicles with 8.4” radio and Sony system
