Stetsom, a leading Brazilian amplifier maker  is looking to grow its US profile.

The company is known for competition amplifiers in Brazil where the amps tend to be louder and more powerful.

The company has offered its amplifiers here for almost two years, but it’s just beginning to make a big marketing push to raise its profile in the US.

It offers  a line of  digital amps, capped by an 80,000 watt (not a typo) S80 mono competition amp that has a retail price of $2,720.

At CES in January, Stetsom introduced several products including a mini 4 x 4-inch amplifier that may be used in the car or a motorcycle or other vehicles where space is limited. The VS400-4, which delivers 400 watts RMS by 4 at 4 ohms for $170.

Also new are two digital signal processors.  The STX2496 standalone DSP has one input to connect to a radio and 6 outputs to connect to up to 6 amplifiers. There is an SX2 remote that can control the DSP (and the radio) for up to about 1,500 feet, which can be used in competitions.

The STX2448 has an LCD display and a simple interface to allow audio adjustments in real time.  You can adjust filters, parametric and graphic equalization, alignment, phase inversion, limiter, audio generator, among other features.

The STX2448 has 2 audio inputs (A and B) and 4 independent outputs, and offers a choice of audio source (A, B or A + B) for each output.

Stetsom US amplifiers lines include the high end Vulcan series and a Crossover series that also includes digital processors.

Stetsom is sold in the US through distributor Diplomat Trading in Miami and regional distributors.
