JVC Mobile is shipping the first four car audio products of a total of 20 to launch for 2015.

They include two DVD/multimedia radios and two CD receivers offered in time for the holiday season.

DVD units have a new touch panel that lets drivers place their favorite function tiles on the screen. And they have a cool volume control where users can touch the screen in a circular motion to adjust volume. Users can also switch modes with a swipe up/down or left/right.

The new units are the KW-V11 ($299.95 suggested retail) and KW-V21BT ($349.95) with 6.2 inch WVGA screen. They connect to an iPhone and can control certain apps.  They also have a USB input that can charge a device.   The step up KW-V21BT has built-in Bluetooth with “auto pairing,” and SiriusXM compatibility.

The step up model also has a Siri Eyes Free button for voice control over an iPhone.

The CD receivers include an entry level KD-R660 ($89.95 suggested retail) and KD-R460 ($84.95). They now have an Android Auto Mode to connect to Android phone via USB, and control the phone from the radio (once an app is installed called the JVC Music Play).

Both receivers have a front-panel charging USB port and are steering wheel control ready. The KD-R660 connects to the iPhone to play and control stored media as well as Pandora and iHeartRadio, using the iPhone’s broadband connection.
