New In-Car USB Cloud Device

Inrete  is looking for a U.S. distributor for its in-car USB cloud device that lets users access music, audiobooks and other content without fiddling with a smartphone in the car.

The Italian company is offering a $99 Automatica device with built in WiFi, so when you drive up to your driveway or office, it downloads new music or podcasts from your cloud account.

Automatica works seamlessly with Dropbox, Google Drive and other cloud services where users can store music and audiobooks without having to connect to their smartphone.

“Automatica works as its own computer with its own storage as well as online access to your cloud files.  That means if you want to have several audiobooks for a long car trip, you can have access to them via Automatica without killing your phone or running out of battery on the road,” said a spokesperson.

With 4GB of flash storage the device holds 24 hours of audio.

Automatica will be available this month on the web at www.automaticaweb.com.

Inrete is an Italian company with experience in bringing connected car technologies to the automotive industry.  Automatica is its first consumer retail product
