Corrected: The Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) car audio buying/marketing group said none of its 47 members (141 storefronts) had any major damage to their stores or homes from Hurricane Sandy, but it released this statement:
As you well know the destruction of hurricane Sandy has left entire communities in extreme need of basic items.
I wanted to let each of you know that MESA Members not directly affected by Sandy have banded together to help in the Sandy Relief efforts with a donation of $8,500 to the Red Cross.
Many our members had already made other donations through their churches and other organizations so this really shows that MESA Members are more than just a buying group. We truly have a great team of Members.
Thank you for your donation:
