The new line is available as custom fit navi kits that work with individual car models, using the factory controls including touch screens, buttons and knobs.  It is also available in a universal style kit for nearly all vehicles.

Called the NTX52 series,  the kts  use Garmin City Navigator maps with 2D and 3D viewing and turn by turn directions.  They offer over 6 million points of interest and provide “Junction View” detailed views of highway exits in some areas.

“When given a choice, 9 out of 10 customers ask for Garmin by name,” said Moni Melman, CEO of NAV-TV Corp. “….We listened to their requests and created vehicle-specific systems based on Garmin City Navigator maps and turn-by-turn navigation that work flawlessly with their factory car radios and screens.”

NTX54 navigation units are now available for select Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT and Lancia vehicles.  NAV-TV plans to add models over the next 12 months to work with just about any type of automotive screen including factory installed or aftermarket, it said.

The company also offers a universal solution that uses a handheld remote control.  It works with any monitor with a composite video input or in conjunction with NAV-TV video kits.
